david bustamante cantando "devuelveme el aire" y "ni una lagrima mas" durante el festival de la orquidea!
En la tarde del Sábado 13 de noviembre del 2004 tenía lugar en Maracaibo (Venezuela) el Festival de la Orquídea, que se celebra todos los años dentro de la Feria de la Chiquinquirá. Dicha Feria es conocida internacionalmente como una de las más importantes de Latinoamérica debido a la gran cantidad de estrellas Nacionales e Internacionales que se dan cita esa noche. Este evento se caracteriza porque es el propio público asistente, unos 20000 en la noche de ayer, según afirmó Daniel Sarcos, conductor del mismo, quien por medio de sus ovaciones galardona con una "Orquídea" de diferente categoría según la intensidad y volumen de aplausos que den a su interpretación.
David Bustamante quien ya empieza a gozar de mucha simpatía y seguidores en Venezuela acudía como invitado al Festival, por tanto no tenía opción a conseguir su orquídea salvo que el público así lo pidiera. En su actuación interpretó dos canciones que ya han sido single en ese país, "Ni una lágrima más" y "devuélveme el aire", y además sorprendió a todos los Zulianos, con la espontaneidad que le caracteriza cantando a capela la gaita "Cuando voy a Maracaibo". Al acabar el público se puso en pie y aplaudiendo comenzó a pedir una Orquídea para David. Tan reclamada fue que el presentador solicitó a los organizadores que los aplausos de los asistentes pudieran ser también medidos y así optar a su Orquídea. En los 22 años de historia del evento es la primera vez que ocurre esto y se solicita que un invitado sea premiado. Así gracias a las 20000 personas que allí se encontraban y sus ovaciones y aplausos, Bustamante consiguió la mayor distinción del Festival, la "Orquídea de Diamantes". Emocionado, sin palabras y casi sin poder creer lo que estaba pasando, dedicaba la estatuilla a todos los Venezolanos agradeciendo su apoyo.
Nada más llegar al camerino David se puso en contacto con su familia, para comunicarles la noticia y para pedirles que por favor la hicieran llegar lo antes posible a nosotros, sus fans. Añadiendo también que este premio, era tanto suyo como vuestro, de cada una de las personas que día a día, siguen al pie del cañón luchando y creyendo en él. La alegría que sentía David era inmensa, tan grande como lo agradecido que se siente por ver poco a poco que va abriéndose camino y haciendo realidad su sueño con vuestro apoyo. |

El Teatro de la Ciudad de Puebla sera el escenario de una muestra autogestiva del trabajo de productores audiovisuales nacionalaes. El line up confirmado de artistas mexicanos multimedia y de música electrónica esta conformado por: Antena, Bakteria, Fax, Karras, Kobol, El Lazo Invisible, Childs, E.
